cartoons, communication and relationship patterns

Postby sarahjane » Wed Jan 20, 2010 5:34 pm

I dreamed that I was looking at cartoons on my smart phone ... Looney Tunes specifically. You know, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the crew.
I lamented to my homegirl Jonalynn that I missed a certain climber guy who used to be like my personal Looney Tune. He and I used to laugh so much together, on the phone especially. I miss the laughter and the fun times we had. But not enough to want to rekindle anything. Oh well, I'll probably know the next dude who isn't a total waste of time by his affection for cartoons ... and ability to communicate his FEELINGS -- yes I said it.
So my question is to you: what kind of negative patterns in relationships do you find yourself attracting? I seemed to have a string of guys who couldn't communicate. What kind of unsuitable matches to you find reappearing in your lives?
P.S. Universe, take note, I am not dealing with the noncommunicate dudes anymore, so keep them away from me.

I think that there are many different things that people can or can't communicate. We all are good at some, bad at others. So it just depends on what makes them feel insecure that inhibits their ability to communicate.

Telling someone you can't make it so visit them should not be a big deal in my opinion. This should not be information you have to dig out of them. It's not even personal or emotional. That just applies in this case.
My point being overall, I don't have to deal with someone's issues. They can go fix themselves or find someone who will put up with it. I know that may sound hardcore, but I have put up with enough lameness in my lifetime. I deserve better!

Yes, you do deserve better!

If someone wants to communicate, they will.....or at least show a valiant effort. If they don't, but they try and stick around or are occasionally available.....something else is going on. If things don't change for the better when you call them out on it.....time to throw your fishing line into a new pond.

If you feel that the same old types of dudes are coming around......I would suggest finding a new fishing pond.
