112,000 miles

My Ballermobile, aka my sturdy 1998 Corolla, turned 112,000 today. The Ballermobile has never had any major problems. I love my trusty steed. Steers like butta and I can drive around forever on a tank of gas.

Get a new vehicle;....here' s a suggestion;....(You'd be a big hit in Fresno in one of these colorful rigs...)

How about if you give me a piggyback ride wherever I want to go? That would work better for me. One of those hippymobiles probably will get me too much attention from gangbangers and cops around here.

I had to replace the starter on my Ballermobile. After 12 years, I guess I can't complain!

Howdy, Sarah.
Your rig's got a buncha miles left on it, I'm bettin'.
My jeep's got 219,000 or so, so far. Yep....Many miles yet.

Oh, most def, Skully. Thank goodness my Corolla is old and not one of those new pieces of shit! Works better than the new ones, ha! Though I do feel bad for anyone who owns one of those. That sucks! I'm sure they were counting on Toyota's reputation of dependablity as I was when I bought mine.

The awesome thing about Toyotas, is that the new ones are just as good as the old ones, in my experience. I was amazed when I popped the hood of my new to me 2002 Tacoma 2 years ago to see that nothing has changed significantly in comparison to my old 85 4 runner. Only little changes....and I like it that way. Goes along with the sayin, "why change something if it ain't broken?" That's my philosophy, which some of the other car manufacturers haven't figured out yet. That's why you never want to buy a car in the first couple years of a huge makeover.....because there will be many bugs that they haven't quite ironed out yet. My family learned the hard way when they bought a 92 Suburban. It had a completely changed front suspension, new body style, newer style interior, etc and it was problem after problem after problem with that thing.

Ah, good points from the engineer! I never thought about that.
