I've had these since I was a kid. Too bad I didn't stick with it before I started climbing.....I'm still slacking though! They can be a real bitch to start if you're new to them....but after a while you'll be able to get them going with a flick of your thumb. Some of them also have a provision for an optional tachometer to see how fast it gets going. Be careful though.....they will fly out of your hands if you're not careful! Expensive, but I personally find it well worth it! Plus, it helps a lot to exercise the wrists if you spend all day on a computer like myself at work. Every so often I feel the CTS coming on, spend a few minutes every day with ball for a week and then I'm good to go.
